    Default Good News Update

So last you all heard I had a part-time job in a restaurant, my wife's job was lucrative and temporary, we are living with my parents saving up to move into an apartment, and we're preggers with no health insurance...

    Well now...
The wifey's job should continue on for a long time and is still lucrative
I received a full time job that pays pretty well and will receive excellent bennies beginning September 15th
My part-time job will work with me on my new full-time schedule so I can work both jobs
We saved $2500 (WOW I think we did that in one month) for the deposit for an apartment and submitted an application yesterday for a place we found (say a little prayer for us please!)

We just keep planning our work and working our plan. The thing for us that has really made this very workable is keeping track where every penny goes. (I love nerding out with the numbers on spread sheets! And even my wife is starting to see the value in "nerding out" as she calls it) If anyone wanted some assistance in creating spreadsheets I would be more than happy to help!

Thanks everyone for your encouragement and prayers. And we got the place! WooHoo! We just movin' on up... like the Jeffersons!

It's not all fun and games though; my wife's check did not come through (which we need for the deposit) but they are working on getting it to her sooner than later, and my car is broke down right now. "Into every picnic a little rain must fall." We should get through this stuff easy enough though.

Congratulations. Although Murphy has dropped by for a visit, hopefully he'll be on his way soon. I like nerding out with spreadsheets too. When I learned how to do a pivot table, I was doing them ALL the time. DH was so amused.
