I listen to his radio show daily and watch his show often.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I've taken to listening to the show on fridays and downloading hulu of friday's.. I just like the 'I'm Debt Free' Screams.

I do podcast the first hour of his show though and I was glad to hear him acknowledge that the market is starting to show signs of recovery.

Story of my life. In 2007 we had 78000 worth of debt, and we climbed out under it, on top of paying for a surgery with cash, bought a house, had a foundation shift and $11000 in repairs later we are good to go.. then I hear the words "I'm pregnant!"

FYI - Should you not have pay TV which includes the Fox Business Channel and want to see Dave's show that airs there, watch it on Hulu.com for free!

Fox Business posts the shows about 2 weeks in arrears, so while you will get to see them in their entirety (with no commercials!) it will not be that day's showing.

    Enjoy!

Mahalo QSM - that's exactly what I wanted to know - never thought that there would be another way to see his shows.

i like the radio archives better...
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

Usually listen to the archives on his website... he's on while I am at work and his tv show isn't replayed until too late for me. The web archives are good b/c I can skip past the commercials & adverts.
MIL just informed us the other day that Dave Ramsey is a dangerous extremist. We got a most excellent laugh out of that.

I love Dave Ramsey and my husband dislikes him. I do not know why but he says he is obnoxious. So I usually watch him when my husband is gone at night or sometimes I catch a show on Hulu.

Maybe DH thinks Dave is obnoxious because DH doesn't want to hear Dave's message, cause it strikes too close to home?

I don't understand why MILs need to say something "negative" about DR and discourage their kids while they(the kids) are actually trying to take the control of their lives. We are taking FPU classes and my wife's mom makes the comment "You know, he is talking like this but he is making tons of money off of his books and the classes you all are taking"
I don't care who makes money by "giving me his/her opinion" as long as they direct me to the right direction!!
