After listening to TMMO on audiobook, my husband found himself saying "D@mn that Dave Ramsey! He's ruinin' all my fun!"
He'd be thinking about buying something and all of a sudden he'd remember something Dave said and wouldn't purchase the item after all.

Do you guys get the Fox Business channel? Dave is on at 8pm every night - and about a gillion times a week in reruns. Sometimes they run specials from his live shows that are really great motivators.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Okay--so today I go to the chapter that is just starting to talk about saving a baby efund
I am getting there!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!!! My only concern is, I am reading this myself. Should I ask DH to read it with me (I really don't think he will want to..) or ask him to read it separately or highlight things and get together like once a week and discuss?

You said he's reading it on his own - my advice would be to let him. He'll be less resistant to getting on board if he doesn't feel like he's being dragged along.
In fact, play this right and it'll all turn out to be his idea after all...
Just ask ceashels...

Keep it that way, then.
