something to make you chuckle
i was in sears wandering around while i waited for the "while you wait" jewelry repair to fix something. all of a sudden on the muzak jerry rafferty's bakerstreet came on.
then i wandered into lane bryant and pink floyds "money" came on.
it was an amusing hour. think these companies need to re-do their music.11% gross to retirement

I have to admit to being a total grinch about music in stores. It usually twangs my last nerve, and often I just abandon shopping and leave. I can't imagine having to work with it. I guess I'm spoiled to the quiet library and my quiet apartment.

Wonder who those stores were catering their music to?

How much we enjoy what we have is more important than how much we have. Life is full of people who have more than they know what to do with, but cannot be content. It is the capacity to enjoy life that brings contentment.---Unknown

I can't tell how many times I have been in a store and just about to buy something I don't need and Baker Street comes on overhead.
However, one of our local grocery stores has awesome 70's music that I shop/sing to.

That happens to me all the time, lol. I listen to Dave during the day when DH is at work and even HE knows if Baker Street comes on to step away from whatever he's thinking of buying!
