I took Total Money Makeover out at the library
I am going to join the crowd and read his books. I have read a few pages so far with the little spare time I had between work and picking up the kids from the bus. I have a few chores to do then back to reading! I like it so far. Usually my eyes glaze over and I fall asleep reading serious books. So far so good.

Your going to love it!
I took it out of the library a couple of years ago and then just last month got it again on DVD out of the library. If your serious about getting and staying out of debt Dave is certainly the way to go! Good luck on your journey!

Great book & interesting read!
I got my copy free for working at one of Dave's LIVE events and it's now one of my faves.

Glad to hear. I haven't even finished BS1 and I already have a greater sense of financial peace.

Also try and get a copy of ' your money, the missing manual' which is based off the blog Get Rich Slowly - Personal Finance That Makes Cents . JD Roth is the author and that is his blog which he started after being inspired by TMMO.
Another good one to read, which compliments TMMO, is Elizabeth Warren's "All Your Worth."

Story of my life. In 2007 we had 78000 worth of debt, and we climbed out under it, on top of paying for a surgery with cash, bought a house, had a foundation shift and $11000 in repairs later we are good to go.. then I hear the words "I'm pregnant!"

Good for you!! It may be better that you are reading it in small spurts - easier to process and work on small ideas that can grow into big ones!! Congrats!!
