Crazy Change in My Behaviour!!!
I'm posting this under DR because it is becuase of him that thhis is happening.
You may have seen on a different part of the site that I need to replace my computer.
This is where it gets weird:
My plan is to...wait for it...save up the money, and only then, when I have the full amount in cash, to make a purchase.
It'll take a little while. It won't be immediate and have the heart-flipping jolt of just throwing down a cc to pay for it.
But I am really going to do it. Using real cash and an envelope labelled Computer Fund!
I know, I warned you it was crazy!!!
Wild, huh?BEF: $$120/$1000

Wow, you're really weird!!!
GOOD FOR YOU!If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Good for you! You can do it.
That's how I buy everything. Haven't had a credit card for years and I don't buy anything unless I can pay cash.

Computers drop in price fast too. Price what you want now, save up to that dollar amount, then go back on the market and either get a better computer than you'd priced or do something else with the money you saved by saving!
