Dave Ramsey Childrens Books
My wife and I are expecting our first child in December. We are both new to Dave Ramsey, and I was curious if any of you folks have purchased any of his Childrens Books? If so, which would you recommend, or not recommend? I appreciate it!
Thanks
Craig

I don't have children yet but I have an urge to buy them every time I get an email saying they are on sale! They look like adorable kids books. (Maybe I just want to read them!)
I've been thinking of giving them to my nieces and nephews, but I'm not sure if their (broke) parents would somehow find it offensive!

I can understand that. I guess a good thing for us is that our children aren't here yet, so we can start them off with living this way rather than trying to implement it after they are used to another lifestyle. Maybe I'll just budget for one a month and buy them.
Thanks!

What's the rush? Your baby's gonna be just pooping peeing eating and puking for quite a while before reading financial books to him or her are gonna be a priority.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Greebo - I actually tried to send you a PM a few days ago before I found out that I can't until I reach 20 posts. If you send me one, can I respond?
Thanks

No problem. I was just looking for some advice on something that from reading the board it looked like you had some good insight on. I however didn't really want to put it all out there in the forum.
Thanks

I appreciate your concern - but I would point out that I am by no means the only poster here with experiences to share. (My claim to fame is as the biggest pain in the ass, not smartest finance guy
) There are plenty of people here who know more than me. Posting your questions publicly give you exposure to all of them, and frequently you'll get answers more quickly than you will from me via PM.

If you think that I was saying you were wasting my time, then you did not understand me at all.
