Talking Bank rewards me with new credit card...

Yesterday, I received mail from my bank.
My new mastercard! I am childishly excited about that because that means I'll receive my new Visa card soon as well (got the double card thingy from them)!

The reason I'm so excited is that I have - against Dave's counsel - not cut up my credit cards just yet. I have stored them in a locker to cut them up celebrating the day when the balance is paid off.
It's also partially a "can I control myself" move - I just wanted to prove to myself that I won't use them even if they are still alive. Well, I have succeeded so far, never using them since we started the program 16 months ago.

The balance is down to just under 2600 EUR and with the extra income from my wife, we'll probably be able to pay them off in December turning that month into Happy-Plasectomy month!

So where's my Visa?! Can't wait...

    You're weird.

    I LIKE it!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
