Question My friends think I am crazy (they are right!)

My friends have been commenting over the last month and a half about all the things I have listed and sold recently on facebook/craigslist etc.

They ask WHY am I selling this or that, and say I am crazy, well they are right, I am crazy, crazy focused about getting my butt out of debt!

Sold my generator today, I owned it 3 yrs used it maybe 20 hrs total, so decided time to put it up! It was paid for, and I did lose a bit on it BUT also gained $780 cash in hand today from selling it soooo yup I am crazy!

Also listed my 2nd car on facebook and will list it on autotrader soon, just rarely drive it and its got super low miles and well maintained so confident enough in selling it that someone else will have a great used car if they bought it, and when I get that guess where that $ is going?? Crazy yup...

Smacking some debt with this recent $780 - another BITE out, and I am listing more stuff this weekend too so they can all talk about me I don't care...

I will rest a bit once I get this debt gone but not till then...

WTG!!! I think we all have things that could be sold to help us pay down our debt. I don't think you are crazy at all! I think your smart and your friends are going to be envious when you complete your goals. Keep up the great work!

    That's not crazy... that's WEIRD!

I love WEIRD. Weird is good! Weird is simply not normal and who wants to be normal with thousands of others in debt?

Weird is good in the Dave Ramsey world! Keep up the good work!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
