    Default Another blessing for us!

Hubby out of the blue a couple weeks ago was contacted through LinkedIn by a recruiter. He decided to go for the interview, and, well, long story short, he starts the new job on Monday! Woo-hoo! This means we are getting a HUGE (like $1500+ a month) raise! Our tax refunds will pay off our loans except the house (and his student loan that his parents are paying). This extra money will help us pay off that loan for his parents, plus it will only take about 3-4 mths to get the FFEF in place (maybe less - we haven't gone through exact numbers yet). Once that's done, we plan to get saving for a new vehicle for once this one breaks down and dies. After that.... Wow! Well, those are just the preliminary plans that we talked about on his way home from his last day of work today. Cannot believe all the blessings falling on us since we up and moved a little over a year ago! WOW!

Just had to share my excitement as we live like no one else, even in spite of lots more money we could easily spend on more "stuff."

Congratulations! So very happy for both of you. Sometimes good things DO happen and it's nice to hear about them.
