New to this group
In Aug 2008 my total debt was $57,500. Since then I am paying down all my debts.
In Jan 2011 I read Dave Ramsey's book for the first time and decided to follow it.
Step 1: Completed this in 14 days. It was just the matter of paying only the minimum amount to everybody and save the rest.
Step 2: Working on this now. My debt is now down to $18,000.
Step 3: Not started it
Step 4: I was putting money in 401K before I read the book from Dave. I have stopped it now. Have around $9000 there, will start after step 3 is completed.
Step 5: Not started. Have 3 kids. Eldest will go to Middle school next year. Eager to start this sometime in future.
Step 6: Still rent a house.
Step 7: I wish I was here now.
