Well, I had lots of rain (more like mist or light showers), freezing cold (still hasn't hit 50* yet), and light winds (making it feel colder). I still got relatively good traffic flow. Sunshine would have been a lot better. I have yet to count the money because I am so C O L D !!! But I'm slowly warming up. I haven't decided if I'll try again tomorrow afternoon or not. Of course it's supposed to be beautiful. Our city's all-city garage sale is next Saturday, so I may do it again next weekend, too. We'll see. Thanks for all the prayers!

PS. I was so excited to get rid of the giant orange gorilla my brother gave to the kids several years ago! But not so thrilled that some lady bought 6 super-cute stuffed animals - so her dog could chew them apart. *cry* UGH! If that's your goal, don't tell us!!! :-/

I am thinking about trying either Thursday or Saturday, but I haven't decided yet. I have no helpers on Thursday, and I really wanted to shop the city-wide sales on Saturday. So we'll see. Of course, it's supposed to storm on Saturday...

I don't mind so much that people do that - I probably would, as well. But please don't tell the ones doing the selling. (Not that you do - just a generality. ) Because things are still special to us, even when they're "not." KWIM? Oh, that was hard to know some almost new stuffed animals of my girls' were about to be shredded.....

My grandma came down to help watch my toddler while I held the sale today. Yay! The other 3 I can trust to stay out of trouble and help themselves to lunch, etc. Didn't have nearly as much traffic as I thought I would, though, considering it was a nice day and the city-wide sales are Saturday. But I earned some more moola and got rid of some more stuff! Yeah! Since today was my only day this weekend to do it, I won't be having another one for quite some time now. I am pooped. LOL And I'm out of town a lot the next few weekends.
