    Default Yippie, Made 315.00 Today

Just like that!!! DH has had his Trombone in the garage for years, since high school. Dusted it off and took it to the music store and they gave us 250.00 for it!

Then went down the road and pawned one of my old rings and they gave me 65 bucks for it.

It's all going straight to the Visa. What a nice snowball to start the month out.

That will take my balance under 900.00. Knocking that sucker out soon!

I've almost talked dh into selling his 67 Mustang! That will be a nice snowball for sure Woot! Fun stuff.

Yay, you! I recently sold some unused gold jewelry, got two quotes. One for $300+ and the other for $600+. Guess which one I took?

Ka-Ching, Ka-Ching, Baby!!! I am lovin' your post!! Now that's the way to unclutter...... Ha! Nice going there Palooka!

And btw, I LOVE your avatar. I don't know anyone else it could fit better! It's ALL about you.

And Ramona, the difference in those quotes was insane. If I ever sell any gold, I'll definetely got more than one quote. So glad you posted that.....thanks, and WTG!!

I do have to share something funny about this though. When we walked out the door from the music store, my dh had a pissed off look and started ranting that he could have or should have got another 50 bucks or so for his trombone. I couldn't help my big smile, happy as I could be. I said, this is 250.00 that we didn't have before and made it in 10 minutes flat.

Bitching all the way to the pawn shop... I turned my ring in and when I got into the car, I said I felt a little sad that I don't have that ring anymore. He said.."See what I mean, now you know how I felt giving them my trombone from high school!" LOL Yes I get it, I get it!

These 2 things we didn't need and didn't use. It was a nice experience.

Dh came home and looked on line to see how much his Kirk Hammett guitar is worth.

Way to go Palooka! That's a nice chunk of money to start on that card. With your determination you'll have the rest kicked out in no time. Congratulations!
