Default My car needs an alternator and my son bought me a plane ticket to visit him....

So, I was going to hold off getting an alternator but it just is not feasible to drive around in my guys big truck. I received my dollar store pay today so it will come out of that. On the bright side I do not have to dip into my baby emergency fund that I have already in my ING account and I still have $150 left over that I can put into my bef.

My son bought me a ticket to fly out to see him in Ontario, I have never been to his place since he moved there about 10 years ago as he has been coming down here once a year. I will have to use some hairdressing money to go and see him but it will be the bare minimum to get to the airport (gas money) and a few little souvenirs and pick up a few frugal groceries while there. I will also pack a lunch for on the way there and back. He bought the ticket a few weeks ago but I sort of put it to the back of my mind even though I am totally excited about seeing my boy ♥. I will be flying out on the 25th next week and returning home on the 28th. It is only for 3 days as I really can't miss too much time from work.

I have a color and highlights to do tomorrow along with a few more haircuts booked so that should have me covered for my trip.

I was also able to score 3 extra shifts at the dollar store so that can go into my bef from the next pay.

It is a little overwhelming although I am still getting ahead and will be at my 1/2 way mark for my bef.

I'm so glad you get to see your son. Even if it's just 3 days have fun.

Thanks fern I am so happy about that. I figure that $125 will pay for the gas, some frugal groceries etc.... I will let you know how it goes when I get back
