Default Priceless : Straight Shooting, No Frills, Financial Wisdom

Has anyone read this book by Dave Ramsey? We are currently recovering from Bankruptcy (med bills and no insurance) and would like to get our finances back on order. I found this book on half.com for $2.49. Would I be better of to pay $10.00 for the total money makeover?

    Any suggestions are welcome.

We plan on studying this book beginning June 27th. Come along for the ride. Ramsey also has a website.

Ok, good. I just wanted to make sure this book was at least nearly as good as The total money makeover. I'm going to pick up one of his books at the library today.

I will be joining your study. I am going to try to read this book with my husband as he is the one wanting to take care of the finances but doesn't really know where to start.

We could use all the help we can get!

Priceless is a sort of summary of Dave Ramsey's points. It's entertaining and a quick read. We have a copy. Maybe you could get Priceless first while you save up to buy the Total Money Makeover book?

I haven't read any of his books (though I have Total Money Makeover here from my library), but could you borrow them from the library instead of buying them? Just a though

Dave Ramsey has good stuff. I wish I could still get his radio program but haven't been able to the last couple of months. It's an AM station in the next town and lately I've been getting a lot of interrferrence there. I could listen to the online streaming or the archives.

This is good to know! I just read Financial Peace - revised and loved it! I love how he gets straight to the point! Unfortunately I will have to return it soon (inter-provincial library loan).
It sounds like this shorter book would be a good graduation gift for kids!
