    Default Dave Ramsey TMMO

If you are following Dave Ramsey's TMMO plan, what baby step are you on?

We are just starting it and we are on baby step 2, the debt snowball.

i am still in step one...working on the ef...almost there though. We don't have credit cards anymore (that lesson was learned a few years ago), but after the ef, we will start on our auto loans then the mortgage! GL!

~I attack all baby-steps at once as you can see from my sig. But I can do that because our debts are one car loan(6%) and our mortgage(5.375%). BS2(the car loan) should be done by April 2008!~

How exciting! How did you like the process? We just read the book this week, but we are on baby step 2 because we have the money in the EF already. We would really like to pay off $60,000+ in debt by summer of 2009. How long did you take to pay off your debt? When we will be relocating, so that we start off with no debt and a 15 year mortgage.

I just read Ramsey last month and on step 2. What a wake up call. I'm sooooo embarrassed of how much debt we racked up. And how fortunate we have been to not have our house of cards fall to our feet. I don't know about the joneses down the street...but this one's broke!

We had to use our EF, so I'm back to step 1 until September, then it'll be back up. Working hard on the snowball. I'm very excited.

the book is amazing. There is so much info yet, really, so little, that it's a perfect blend to make it DO_ABLE! It was a great read. Took one day to read it. Now it's near by to refer too when I'm wanting or needing it. We'll get BS2 done in 12 - 18 mo. WOOHOO!

    Total Money Makeover. (TMMO)

I just finished reading it last week and on step #1 but it's slow going because we are having to use some of the money that would be going to savings to buy baby stuff (mainly cloth diapers). As long as plans go the way we want we should be starting step 2 in Feb.
