Lightbulb 2.99% for the life of the loan!!

So I just transferred $16,500 in ccard debt to one of my cards that offered me 2.99% for the life of the loan. That's almost $2,000 in interest saved this year!! So pumped. Now all of my debt is in one place and it's all at a nice low rate for a very long time!!!

It is hard to beat 2.99%...now that it's all in one place it should be easier to pay it off quicker!

This is great. Just be sure not to use that credit card that you transferred your debt to. If you use it, the new usage will probably be at a higher rate. Any payments you make will go toward paying off the lower interest transfer,(or at least a big portion of the payment will), so the higher interest new use just sits around collecting more high interest. When I did this I hid the card in a safety deposit box and never used it, and I got my debt payed off in no time. It feels great.
