progress in behavior
This made me feel good about myself. I follow a general monthly budget, and then do things more specifically every two weeks when The Doctor gets paid. Well, I forgot that my bc pills needed refilled this week and they weren't accounted for. Instead of just slapping 50 bucks on the credit card and convincing myself I'd pay out of the next check (yeah, right, sure Janie, that's how you ended up here) I decided to trim a household/hba stockpiling trip to Target out of the budget (comes under groceries) and used that cash instead. I imagine if I'd already gone to the store, I would've taken it out of savings.
It took awhile, but I'm finally getting to the point that I get this sick, guilty feeling when I think of using the CC. It's a good thing.

Hooray for guilty feelings about debt!

Hey Jane - I've been meaning to ask: Which Doctor's your favorite?
(Or am I completely missing your signature reference here?)
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Hmm, top four very close, but in this order, Patrick Troughton, David Tennant, Tom Baker, Sylvester McCoy.
Patrick Troughton with Zoey and Jamie is my favorite era before the present. The new years are just phenomenal, though. I really like how much more emotional everything has become.
DH is an Uber Fan. He's even got a few british text books on the show, he's met a few of the Doctors and companions, reads all the books, has the comics and the audio plays and etc etc etc etc... even more etc, lol. He even used to run a role playing group back in the early 90's. He has all the intact epis on tape, so I've seen the whole run a few times (it was a requirement to being with him I think, lol.) He likes Pertwee best, and I just don't get that at all.
Don't tell me about the series that just ended!! I've not wanted to cry, so I've not watched any of it yet, lol.

I've seen very little Troughton, and almost none after Peter Davidson. I am trying to catch up - or back - slowly. Don't like Pertwee, though... Watching "Doctor Who and the Daleks" - William Hartnell - now. Those old ones are FUNNY.

I found the Doctor under Tom Baker, so he's my long standing favorite. He's been displaced, only just, by Tennant. I very nearly considered flying to England to see Tennant in Hamlet this year, but...no budget
I haven't seen the finale - we just watched "Midnight" - creepy but not as good as Blink. I'm all a dither thinking about the trailer...soooo tempted to d/l it from bittorrent. MUST BE GOOD!If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Q loves Dr Who!! In fact, he uses "dahlik" or "dahlek" as his sign-ons for games and such.
