I hate to say anything so difinative, but it won't go away. Pay and work rules have deteriorated so much ove the last 7 years, everybody ( all airlines ) is fed up. I mean let the company shut the doors before I take another pay cut fed up. Pilot costs will not break any airline, but costs that pilots have direct control over could. When unified pilots have a tremendous amount of leverage. If my pay does anything but go up it will cost the company more money.

JFK-SEA leg 6 hours.

10% pay raise for me = $108

me upset at pay cut takes a cruise altitude 2,000 below optimum aprox 5% higher fuel burn = 300 gal of fuel/ $951
