Default The first step to our debt snowball success!

Today, August 7th, is our first payment to our debt snowball! 290.17 to the Best Buy account.

I'm sort of nervous but I'm really excited about this.

(I also tucked 229.96 into DH's savings and 275 from my checking account last week, which means we put 504.96 into savings. We also got the reimbursement check, so that's going into savings too and that's another 162.68....for a grand total this month of 667.64 deposited!)

Congratulations!!! That is a great feeling!!!! It is even better when you have a plan, and can stick to it. Also, putting $$$ in a savings etc. makes you feel more secure. Keep up the great work, let fun begin and get the snowball rolling!!

You're on the right path! Keep it up!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
