    Default I Saved $1,359!!!

I have been really getting on board with the whole debt reduction, and decided to look into other ways to be saving my family money other then being frugal. I changed my auto insurance around and saved $800 for a year's worth of premiums. Then we changed home insurance carriers to our auto insurance company and saved $487 for a year's premiums, which resulted in our car insurance going down another $72 for a year. Making our grand total of savings $1,359 for a year's time, and that was just in this past week! I am beyond happy about that. We are also looking into getting life insurance through our home/auto insurance company which will result in them decreasing again. Needless to say this has been a fabulous week for us on our quest to better our lives.
Thought I would share with everyone.

That's fantastic!!! That's gonna go a long way towards your debt reduction!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Thanks for posting this. I think I'll call my car insurance company and see what rate they can give me if I move my homeowners.

    Way to go!!!

Wow, that is really, really wonderful news!! You defintely are on your way to financial freedom and success. You should be very proud of yourself, it is kinda funny though, because it seems like when you start something like finding ways to reduce debt, and you see success you get obsessed with it. LOL Everybody look out, you are on the way to taking em' down. LOL

Good for you!!! I highly suggest calling your phone company, internet service and cable to see if there are any better plans that work with what you need/want right now. You could save another hundred dollars a month or so which would mean 1200 a year!!! You're on a roll, don't stop now!!!
