Okay I figured it up

To pay off what is left of my bills and dds tuition I need $1189.00

If I go by dhs old pay and what I have set aside for tuition NOT including my EF I will have $1030.00.

This means dh new raise needs to equal $159 in order for me to NOT have to dip into the EF.

I feel so much more calm now that I did the math!

I have it and should even have some left over.

I don't care who you are, you get an unexpected bill of $688.00 and you PANIC lol!

I just keep saying:

1. the bills are cureent and will be paid for the month
2. we have a stocked kitchen
3. the debt snowball has been applied this month and is on track
4. the Ef is intact and SHOULD remain that way
5. All this($1189.00) will come from dhs 15th check so the 31st is clear and will be at the new pay grade.

I hope DH's pay rise is enough to cover the shortfall, and if not thank goodness you have the EF there just in case! imagine if you didn't and then would need to pay the def with a CC - that would be truely bad.

Hope it all works out with the raise. If not like the above poster said you could pay out of the ef. That is way ahead of a lot of the population. Good planning!
