Progress!
So I've been feeling kind of down lately. On another board I frequent someone asked if the ever feel "slow as molasses" instead of "gazelle intense" heh. And I have really been feeling this way. We've been working, and yeah had some spending slip ups. I think part of the reason I felt so slow was because we've not been able to zero balance/cancel anything since February. I was beginning to feel like the journey to being debt free was futile.
Well, I've been watching things, seeing the numbers go down and feeling like they weren't going down enough. Thing is, I hadn't actually totaled everything up for awhile. Well, I sat down and filled in my little chart I have and holy moly we've canned almost 15k in six months and we're ahead of schedule! It's just so spread out I honestly didn't notice, and the last time I totaled up I was disappointed with how little it was. But woweewow!
If any of you remember my post a couple months ago about pushing back TTC until September of next year (it was supposed to be this year) we're going to go ahead and move that back up to January because of this (knock on wood that everything stays the same, I hope I hope!)
Anyhow, I just wanted to put this out there one, because I'm proud of DH and I and wanted to shout it somewhere people would understand, lol, but also to say, if you feel like things are going slow, keep it up. You might be surprised how far you've climbed once you turn around and look at where you started!

That is great. It does stink to get stuck doing the same old same old and then at the end of the month even though the balances are lower you STILL have the debt....I JUST KEEP ON PLUGGING ALONG.
