Help please
I'm trying to figure out how to pay bills
I need to make $40 a day starting tomorrow through next Wednesday to come up with my rent
I also need to pay electric of $26 by next Wednesday.
I have to pay gas of $45.81 soon but that can wait until after I pay rent and electric.
I kind of think I may have to pay rent one day late because i'm not sure I can make $45 in one day.
I didn't include what I will make today in order to use it as a buffer.
I also need to put $6 in gas in my car to take my kid to school next week.

It seems that maybe you work in a cash job like waiting tables ???? can you work an extra shift ??
It won't help now but after you get through this crisis what can you do next month to avoid it.
put more aside for rent earlier in the month
cut extras in your spending even a $1 soda a day adds up over a month
Good luck it can only get better.Meg
cc debt free YEAH on to the mortage

Have you considered going to a plasma center. They pay you for your donation. I have never done this , but I would if I had to.

Just thought of something else. In our area we have a township trustee. He/she has a fund to help those w/ a temporary need. Such as a one-time payment of electric bill, rent, groceries, etc. You might check and see if your area has something like this.

Actually I will be moving in with my parents now and my last month's rent is already paid for until December 19th. My gas, electric, and cable are paid for until then and I don't need to worry about rent money now. So now I have over 30 days to make money and save it.

I have struggled quite a bit this past year. I thought I was going to move in with my parents a couple times before. I am starting to feel a struggle again and I know heating bills will go up next month.
I am moving in with my parents December 19th for a couple of months so i can save plus I want to live in another school district. I gave my landlord my 30 day notice so it is for real this time.
I let my kids down big time last year at Christmas because I struggled. This is what I need to do to make it better for all of us.Last edited by mmy2grls; 11-16-2008 at 04:32 PM.

Check with your local Salvation Army about getting your utility bills paid. They will do this once in a lifetime. They can also give you food or put your in touch with a food pantry which will redue your other expenses. They may even give you a gas card. I would check on the bus for the kids to get to school.
