    Default It's official!

We signed a contract on our (hopefully-soon-to-be) home today. The owner made one change to the contract, which was minor and we agreed to the change, so we are officially locked into a contract pending everything goes as stated in the contract. They are shooting for December 23rd as the closing date. We have the home inspection scheduled for Tuesday which I do not anticipate him finding anything wrong, but then again I could be wrong. I plan to be there so I can see exactly what, if anything, is in need of repairs.

Keep your fingers crossed for us that everything goes as planned.

Thank you. I am not looking forward to the stressful situations, but I heard there sure can be some before finally closing. I just want it to go smoothly.

OMG...I'm so excited for you!! As you might have known from my post (dreams really do come true) we closed on our dream house in the first week of October.. Everything will be just fine..try not to listen to all the negativity from people when it comes time for the closing yes anything can happen during that time..but honestly I was caused the most stress listening to my father and brother saying all the bad things that happened to them during their closing on their own home..I wished I didn't even talk to them about it because the closing on our home went smooth as pie..(((HUGS))
