Another one bites the dust.
Well, maybe 2? I paid off one cc today. Dh has another he uses on occasion, he gave me a receipt last week, and I paid it off today. I keep this one at balance $0.
I also paid off 50% of the balance that was left on my Student loan.
Based on the income coming in this month, i should be able to pay it off before the new year. WOOOHOO!
That'll leave me with 4 left! These are bigger, but with focus and doing what I can to earn more income, we've been working hard it's starting to reflect!
December is typically a very tight month. I have 3 gifts yet to get, under $100(combined) and ..... Not one thing left to buy.
So other than groceries and mortgage(utilities are already paid for the month), I've nothing left to pay out.
In fact, I have approx $200 more owed to me. which I'll just plunk onto a cc and pay it off more. After this student loan is done, the debts being tackled are bigger and badder
so they will take longer. But the snowball is getting bigger and bigger! $125 bigger this month due to paying some off! So I keep thinking of them interms of the current size of the snow ball. it's $90 bigger than last month, next month it's $125 bigger again. $215 bigger that is was 3 months ago. So we it'll be sooner than I think that I'll see progress faster and faster.... It just seems like forever..lol.
I just need to look backwards to see how far we've come, not how far we have yet to go.
