progress in spending habits
sales are my big down fall but I am proud of myself. I did check out the 75% off Christmas stuff at target but all I bought was 8 rools of tape for 39 cents each. Great deal and it will all be used up in a year. I spent 3.45
Clearance is not a good deal if you truely do not NEED it and if you have any debt.Meg

I checked out the after Xmas sales, but all I bought was a box of greeting cards for 50 cents, and some wrapping paper for $ 1.00.
Puts me back in good shape for a year from now.
The gifts will be handmade again

Clearance aisles tempt me, too. This year I stayed clear away from them after Christmas!

WTG! I also hit up the Walmart 75% off and got a whole load of paper for under $5. Wonder if I'll have the money to buy presents to wrap next year???

I did not check out any sale racks this year. I am proud. I did however buy 3 rolls of tape and one roll of wrapping paper for christmas this year $4.50 total. Thats all I spent on christmas supplies this year. I used cards I had from last few years, and I had a ton of ugly paper i used that i put off for years, but it gets thrown away anyway.
Great job!

You have made an important discovery. If you don't need it, the price is irrelevant. I have had a problem with not being able to pass up a good deal. Now, I consider need before price.
