Default 135 Ways To Come Up With $100 (input please)

One of my goals this year is to pay off 135 $100s of mortgage principal this year. I thought it would be fun to see if withh your help I could find 135 ways to bring in a $100 a pop without counting regular employment.

So far I've come up with:
(these I know I can get my hands on)
1-15) taxes (I already know I will get aprox. $1500 back)
    16) glasses refund
    17) medical wellness benefit from DH and DSs physicals

these are ideas and where I need your input for more ideas:
    18) scrap metal
    19) yardsale
    20) babysit
    21) check insurance on the food loss from ice storm

Ok, now how about some input?

    TIA!!!!

Ask 135 people for $100 each.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I don't know if you have a flower garden, but I know a lady who grows flowers for cutting. She cuts bouquets & sells them for $4.00 a bouquet right out of her front yard and she makes better than $2500 a season doing so.

-Donate plasma (we have a place that pays $200/month)
-If you're a woman and have a negative blood type they will pay you for your blood to make the injection base for women who need it for RH incompatibility.
    -Sell things
    -Get crazy with energy conservation
-See if you can find a lower internet/cell phone/cable whatever package.

I think that's all I have right now!

See if you have some old gold jewelry lying around that you could sell to a local jeweler for the gold content.

Gold is close to $1000 a troy ounce right now. So all you'd need would be 1/10th of an ounce for $100.

They won't give you full price, of course, so you would probably need closer to 1/5th of an ounce, but that's still a very small amount.

have a garage sale of course.....but sell plant starts too...

get 'em started early so they are a nice size...repot in something you were gonna dispose of anyway...(how about empty food cans)... drill a fee holes in the bottoms (or use a hammer and nail and 'poke' some holes....)

make a ton of them...sell em inexpensive...seeds are cheap...food cans free (well not FREE...but you did get the benefit of the food)...
and people will buy em up...(considering what they sell for at the stores)....

and how about 'pet-sitting' i know people that are always looking for them...i have thought about going into that little 'side' business myself...

scrap metal prices are way down right now, if you have metal to recyle sure, but I wouldn't go looking for it unless you have a source of copper you can tap into.

Sheet Alum - (cans) were up to almost .70 a pound last summer, they are now about .30 a pound.
Steel was up to 240 a ton, now... 60 a ton

Sure if it's laying about, cash it in, but don't go and actively get it to cash in thinking it's going to be a money maker.

What about odd jobs? Deliver phone books?
We took a few odd jobs, door to door flyering and such. Landscaping, movers for hire.

I don't know if this is AT ALL viable anymore, but when I was a kid (maybe 10-15 years ago?) you could cash pop cans for 5c a piece (lived in Iowa) - I remember running around out in rural areas picking up pop and beer cans out of ditches. I don't remember how much money we made, but with three of us kids it went pretty fast. We had a ridiculous amount of cans just from driving down country roads.

There are a lot of things people will pay you to do. See what kinds of odd jobs you could do nights and weekends!

This is a fun challenge, good luck!!

If you have collectibles to spare, send 'em to auction. Of course, this market is down, like everything else, but you should be able to make $100.

Or, get people to donate to a fund-raising yard sale! You don't pay for the stuff, but get the $$$.
