    Default Cobra Subsidy

Just read this "As part of the new economic stimulus law, a COBRA subsidy has been included for 2009. For those that qualify and request this subsidy, an individual will pay only 35% of their insurance premium for a period of up to 9 months. The remaining 65% will be covered by the subsidy."

Note the part about requesting the subsidy.

I'm incredibly thankful for this. Maybe between this and the housing plan, we'll be able to keep health care AND our home.
    Gratitude.

I don't have a link. The subsidy is part of the stimulus package.

Here's a link, with a little more detail. Looks like more info is yet to come.
