    Default CA state taxes

    Anyone get an update on the refunds from CA state taxes? I'm trying to find information online, but it's all from January.... nothing new.

    I talked with our tax person a few days ago and she said she had heard they were starting to cut checks for the state refund but none of her clients (including us) have gotten their refunds yet.

    We filed our taxes on March 3rd and just got our CA state refund today!

    I am beginning to lose patience, and was looking online for a contact number for the CA Franchise Tax Board.

    I found this link

    http://www.ftb.ca.gov/online/refund/index.asp

    to check the status of your refund.

    Mine was OK'd on March 27th.

    So, they have up to 25 business days to pay it.

    *taps foot*
    - I had to snail mail my return due to errors on my tax forms (errors created by an incompetent HR person at work.) I mailed it in Feb 23rd.

    But, at least I know they've received it, and processed it.
