    Default CapitalOne survey?

    I got an email from CapitalOne today asking me to take a survey. It only took about 15 minutes and they are sending a $10 check in 4-6 weeks for participating. Anyone else get this?

    No, didn't get that but Capital one has been flooding our mailbox with tons of offers. Even to the dh with bad credit. I toss it all in the trash before he gets home.

    No. Our credit history is great but I haven't heard from any credit cards in a while except for milage "reports".

    I don't get as many cc offers as I was before the "crisis", but I do get offers to get insurance through cc companies. I do like CapitalOne. I don't get a bunch of junk mail from them. The survey was about possible new services, and I'm thinking they are going to try a reward program of some type. I'm happy with my little card I only have a $750 limit which is all I need. I use this card for travelling.

    I thought Capital One said only use the email through their website....I never get anything from them.

    After they had to give us new cards and numbers due to phishing I would never even open an email from them unless I had logged on through regular channels and never click a link.

    I hit the contact us at the bottom of the email and it went to their website so it was from them.

    I doubt very much that Capital One really wants to know my opinion of them, let alone pay me for it. I gave them quite an earful when they jacked up my % by triple the amount and I immediately paid them off and got rid of them. LOL!

    Capital one gets on my last nerve. how many times when the # was unlsted and i thought it was my son on cell it was them. id ask politley and no-couldnt get through them. Id ask to take me off their mailing list. nope at least 3x month they call. If i dont know the # i dont pick it up, but sons frinds cell # wont show up --so what can u do . ughhh
    But hey if they gove u $10 in mail that great. but i hate all the card company's calling me. thats just me lol

    It amazes me with companies like capital one that when my credit started getting bad I couldn't go a day without at least 3 offers from First PRemier, Providian, or capital one.

    Now that my debts are paid and my credit is better -- NOTHING!
