My kids and I moved in with my ex husband and girlfriend. Things are working out perfect.
I got a job as a controller(accounting) for a big company 5 miles from me. Excellent insurance and benefits. So far looks like i'll be bringing home about $3000 a month.
I found a perfect daycare for my 3 year old so I can work.
I just paid my car insurance in full for a year, paid for both of my kids private schooling next year, have a nice emergency fund growing, and the biggest thing is i'm no longer on any state assistance!
The only bills I have is car insurance, internet, groceries and cell phone. I can pay everything in one check and have money left over.
I feel like I finally made it. After all i've been through i'm definately saving as much money as i can.
I'm very happy for you, especially with all you've been through with your family. Your exhusband and his girlfriend are very special people. congrats on accomplishing so much.
