Default Just when you get comfortable

    Murphy comes!

I had it all budgeted. July, I was down $800 in income due to holidays. Then in August I was down $450 due to holidays.

BUT NO... Murphy had to rear is ghastly head. In the end I'm going to be down.... $1900 for July, and $1700 for August! And down $1400 indefinitely. (Until I get 2 new contracts, then those totals may be less).

Why can't he just steer clear???

I am thankful for the $4200 we've put in savings. I doubt think it'll be touched, but it is there if needed. We were doing so good in building the FFEF! I'll still be earning enough to cover all the house holds and dh income covers the mortgage, groceries, gas and spending money. We have no renovation plans this summer, we were planning on savings.

As to the holidays... the only real cost was my time off, dh gets holiday pay and the rest is paid, we are going to the seasonal campsite we have. Paid for, just groceries to buy, which we would anyway.

Thankfully, dh work is stabilized. So we are fine there. But it also means I have minimal if anything to put in the FFEF.

It could be worse. It was the same last year, except by June 30th, i had NO contracts..lol. But mid July I had 2, by August I had 3. And in September I had the 4th. It's the nature of what I do, but I was hoping to NOT do that this year..lol...
