    Default Seriously getting sick.

Well our cc's took a hit with the wedding, but that's over and now hubby wants to SLAM them. Finally he is sick of the scamming from these companies. I'm just glad we had a frugal wedding and didn't spend more than $1000.00 between cash and credit.

You can do it, if you set your mind to it!

I got angry when both of my credit card companies informed me they were raising my rates. Not because of anything I had done, but because they were changing their business practices. I would have had both of them paid off in 8 more months at the rate we were going. But because I got angry, I cut my budget to the bone, tightened my belt, threatened my hubby, etc.

So guess what? I paid off one of them this month (June) and the other will be paid off in July. I came up with ALMOST 1,600 in two months!

We were already plugging away at the bills. We paid off hubby's credit cards and have been sending extra on the mortgage every month. My stockpile is in great shape; so I was able to pull from the grocery budget and it didn't hurt a bit. A few tweaks in a couple of other categories and it was done.

That means we will start paying extra on the Harley every month starting in August. The hospital will continue to get $80 a month until they are paid off because there is no finance charges on it.

    Go get them!
