If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Quite amazing. I use optimum and I have all 3 service. I bargained from 136 to 116/mo for all 3 service. But some of my friends are bargaining with Comcast for mush less. I am wondering am I overpaying at $116 for all 3 service. Any suggestions?

I didn't get the really good rate until I actually called up to cancel my service. You also need a competitor to actually GO to. If you have a competitor you can switch to, haggle with them for a better rate, then when you call existing provider to cancel, they'll be more willing to talk.

This is one thing I am always happy about. DH works for the cable company, so we pay $20 a month plus taxes for phone service, business class internet (he's a network engineer) and HD cable with a bunch of pay channels. We also get half off PPV movies.
