Looking at Finances This Week
Well, I just got my pay after two weeks. I tallied up our debt and expenses. It looks like we acquired $600 of debt these past two weeks. This doesn't include payment of our cell phones, rent, groceries, eating out three times, etc. Now, I do have a good excuse, but I don't like it: this is the first statement we got back since we had our wedding two weeks ago. So I will have to swallow it. But let me tell you, I am NOT pleased!

NL - sounds as if you are really ready to buckly down and get on top of your finances. Am sure that you are not pleased, but treat the info as facts, not emotions, are go for it!!
Welcome back to reality - hope your wedding was a wonderful one!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

You know the way you want your marriage to workout, so it's a great idea for you to keep good tabs and tackle the debt now before it tackles the two of you anymore! Good luck and congratulations!

Well, and a wedding isn't something you'll be doing again in a couple of months ... I hope! Let's assume this is a one time thing, it's not huge, and you will get it paid off soon. Congratulations on the marriage.
