What would have been bad is if you hadn't made so much progress before the van fiasco or if you had no plan.

But life happening...nothing you can do about that except make a new plan and move forward, which you are already doing.

I agree with Mojjo. Some people have dug themselves in so deep that the CC would not even have been available. Sure it's great to pay all with money saved, but it's a good feeling to know the money is available to you if you need it.
