At least the numbers worked out!
DH's company had a 25% lay off last year. While he is one of the lucky one's who still has work, they had to cut down on the yearly bonus because nothing is coming in which is a 20% loss to us.
We just got back from the tax lady. This bumped us down into a lower tax bracket which means we are getting some $$ back from Uncle Sam. With this $$ we will (1) pay off a loan (2) pay off a CC and (3) pay down on another CC.
That mean will will only have left...(1) mortgage #1 - the house (2) mortgage #2 -- the addition and (3) the FINAL CC {which could be gone this year as it is is term I can pronounce without much thought!!}

Yay! I'm glad you found a silver lining around the storm clouds in your life. Keep up the good work!
How much we enjoy what we have is more important than how much we have. Life is full of people who have more than they know what to do with, but cannot be content. It is the capacity to enjoy life that brings contentment.---Unknown

It always helps a little if the bad news makes at least one thing go a little better. That sounds like it's making a substantial inroad on the debt. Good work!

Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

Congratulations to both of you! I'm sure that is a big stress reliever!
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.
