the car warranty scam hit here too a few weeks on the Island.
They were calling my landlord at home and she told them no and dont call back.And when they called her not realizing at her work(her own business) she was pissed and told them off and said she was calling the cops and reporting them> they hung up.
she did talk the cops and told them about the scam. They knew of corse it was going around and added her to the list of complaints.(tally of how many they called and number they were using).
