Dr. office can't find bill
My ins. was billed 2x for a dr. To my knowledge, we got billed for the smaller amount but not the larger. DH called the billing service for this dr and the hospital where the surgery was done. Both said we are paid up. The student anesthesiologist (we haven't paid them yet) bills through another group. So, DH is going to call them today. If they don't show a record of it what do we do? Just move it to the end of the debt snowball and reevaluate when we get to it or get a bill?
It is so hard to keep up with med bills when you have 3 or 4 different bills for one procedure.

I would make sure to document the time and date that you called and the person that you talked to.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

No calls, no paper bills. We have 2 small bills that should be paid off by the end of this month, if God's willing and the creek don't rise. Then we should start on this one next month.
I skipped DH's tool bill which should be next. He pays it and I hope it hurts enough to keep his current momentum going for the rest of our life time.

I don't understand the issue then. Can you restate it please?

Sorry I wasn't clear. Sometimes I think I am slightly autistic. Maybe this will be better.
It should be the next bill to concentrate on. Should we just skip it for now and move to the next on the list, up the EF by an = amount just in case, keep looking for it (not sure where else to call) or what? I don't want a collection letter at the end of the yr when DH and I will most likely be in our slow season.

So they've never sent you a bill saying what you owe and to whom? You just think they should be the next bill?
If you don't have a bill to pay you can't pay it. If you know you SHOULD have a bill to pay, set the money aside to pay the bill for when they get their heads out of their ***es and send you one.
If the bill is showing up on your credit report, and sleeping, deal with the active ones first. If they're all sleeping and they're next, get the info from the credit report and call em.If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

It was dental surgery and part was paid by the dental ins and part by the medical ins. I know some stuff was sent to both ins co and I think that this may be one of them. I tried to match up the dental statements and medical statements to be sure but they list things differently.
Soooooo, let the sleeping and maybe dead dog lie? The next bill is DH's truck. I'd love to get that reminder of bad times out of the way.
