DR has a question to ask your money:

"Where the heck do you think you're going, what exactly do you plan to accomplish and what exactly is in it for me?"

If the answers are not satisfactory, don't let it out of your sight!

Our biggest prob. is DH's company keeps throwing wrenches into the gears by changing the rules. This week-no internet reimb. anymore $-840. this calendar year. And yes 1 credit card Interest is too high. I focus bi-weekly,monthly and yearly. My weakness is DD.

In your case, I think the answer you're giving is based on a different question.

When I read "is my relationship hurting my bank account?", what I interpret that to mean is, "Am I in a relationship where my significant other is committing financial infidelity, putting me at risk?"
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Oh! Ok then no he's not hurting my bank account, in fact he is working hard himself to change his own financial situation. We have even agreed to discourage each other's cravings rather than "give permission" to give into them. It seems loving to tell someone, "oh go ahead, you deserve it." but if its actually going to get them off track of their goals, they deserve the support to say "no" to such item. Say, if I wanna go out to eat but its not in my budget that week. Ya it's nice to act all sweet "aww go ahead" but he knows I will fret about it later so instead he'll say, "what food do you have at home, I'll help you come up with something..." THAT is what I need.
