Best Money Teachers/Books
One of the last threads got me thinking about how I developed my money management style. I have had several teachers/influential books that helped along the way, but I am always looking for more.
So what are some of the best teacher/books that have helped your financial life?
Mine are:
Suze Orman (I know she is loud and orange, but I love her)
The Motley Fool (love reading LBYM forum)
Simple Living
Your money or your life
and of course, Dave Ramsey

Not yet mentioned, the RichDad series of books by Robert Kiyosaki. The most important take home lesson has been to take action. Start small if you need to, but take some sort of action.

"Thou Shalt Prosper" - Rabbi Lavine
"Atlas Shrugged" - the "So you think money is the root of all evil?" speech. If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
Greebo(Nerd Spender): Loving and extremely patiently tolerated husband of ceashels.

him let me think....
Dave Ramsey's books and FPU class started it all
Rich Dad, Poor Day
The Richest Man in Babylon
The Millionaire Next Door
The Automatic Millionaire
...those are the few that I can think of but I know there is plenty of mentoring, talks, and blogs that have helped mold my financial knowledge even how little it may be.

Mary Hunt, Dave Ramsey, and Clark Howard. I have read other's books also but those are my favorite.

My father is my greatest influence, he taught me about investing, risk management, and living below my means when I was a child. He had me read David Chilton's The Wealthy Barber when I was 18. Which I think is the only real personal money management book I've read. I do read books dealing with economics and investing. My all-time favourite book is Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds which I reread on a regular basis.
