    Angry Virgin Bloody Mobile!

So a couple of months ago I cancelled my only account with Virgin mobile (this was for a phone that my son was using). At the time I cancelled, I was told that I would be sent a bill of approx $70 to close out the account, which I received and paid.

Two weeks later got something labelled a Final Bill for $40. I called and was told that this was related to the cost of closing the account before the end of the contract, and that this would be my final payment to them. I paid it, and was told they would send me written confirmation that my account was closed. Received nothing!

Just got an ebill for $10! Am too angry to call right now.

    Any advice?

You have the copy of the "Final Bill", right?
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I may have been moderately unclear. If so, I apologize.

Hey, listen, if $10.00 is all you ever pay in stupid tax going forward, you're doing better than me.

    But really - KEEP PAPERWORK.

You dont need to keep EVERY copy of EVERY bill - but you need to keep the most recent ones forever - esp when they show things like "Final" on them.
