Default Newbie here ~ introducing myself.

    Hi everyone,

I've been searching for a great online support group for debt reduction.....

To get support, encouraging words, advice and to give it, a place to go with my story and to read others.....

Trying to find a place to check in daily and hopefully become a regular, supporting member.....

I've been on SSD for a number of years now- wiped out substantial savings and have enormous debt.

It's all mine- all my doing. I never, ever was responsible with money and want to more than anything, at my age, to turn the tide.

I find myself a constant, nervous wreck dealing these matters - have a terrific lawyer at a free legal clinic who will represent me w/my back tax issues. I need to get my paper work in order PRONTO to bring to another lawyer at the same clinic and find what he/she advices about the credit card debt and other late payments from other accounts on my credit report.

Some of my SSD is safe - but I still have the judgments, etc. I put $200 aside and the state took it.

And, on top of all of this, I expect to be looking for a full time job soon - within the next 6 months.

There's more but I'll leave it at that for now.....

    I hope I've found a "home" here......

And I support everyone of you who has frayed nerves from dealing with their own financial problems...

    Pip

    Thanks everyone....

Still learning how to navigate the board, too - need to get the hang of it.

It's been an exhausting day dealing with these matters - and the day is not over.....

What a mess I have on my hands

I know I have a lot ahead me - sometimes I am literally trembling - need all the encouragement and support I can get and hopefully give.

    Thanks again......

Hi and welcome from Florida...been there and done that. Just start reading and posting. Good place to start. Take a deep breath and jump in.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

Welcome! It's never too late to jump in and turn things around. As I've just recently discovered, even standing still is better than sliding backwards, further into debt.

    YOU CAN DO THIS!

Yah, I suck at this money stuff, I know. That's why I'm here.
