Default Did Loan Mod. … Thank you Villagers!!!

First, I need to thank you all villagers for the encouragement & support.

A while back, my bank has offered (2nd time) us to do a loan modification, & I was worried that it was too good to be true, almost wanted to ignore it again. But then, after reading your posts, we decided to look into it more closely & to go through the process.

We did it, everything just finalized, old mortgage ‘paid in full’, new mortgage payment starts next month. We are now paying $150 less a month & it will be paid off in 15 yrs instead of 19.5 yrs.

    You guys rock!!!

Kudos to you for researching it all and making a decision that works so well for you!

Hard to go wrong with smaller payments and earlier repayment all at once.
