YAY taxes are going down!
Long story short, our taxes skyrocketed last year due to our new elementary school being built coupled with one town pulling out of our district. Just got latest tax bill, and heard we did finally get state funding to help with school.....our taxes are going down almost $1100 a year, and if I figured it our correctly, we should be getting a $500+ 'refund' from our mortgage company from our escrow account, AND our mortgage should drop down by about $90 a month....we've been working so hard on our 'snowballs' and pinching the snot out of every penny, to have some 'extra' money show up unexpectedly right now on a monthly basis is -such- a blessing for us, I'm very grateful! ****Packing more snow*****

You may have to call your lender to request the escrow refund check.
When we switched homeowner's insurance and reduced our annual premium, we had to call and request the refund check. They weren't going to alter the escrow calculations until the following year .McD
