Default i stumbled across this -

i was looking for til debt do us part and found this

The Big Fix - Video - A&E TV

wow, when was this show on?
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

ahhh Larry Winget, I loved that show. I was so bummed when it quit. It was called Big Spender, I don't know why it comes up as Big Fix. I have his Shut Up book too.

The real shows were full length stories on the people, I really liked it.

I started watching this show 'cause I got wind that a girl from my high school (and her hubby) were going to be on it. They basically were newlyweds w/ absolutely no shopper's remorse, living off family memebers and on a $4K a month income. They'd spend more than they had coming in, and bought a Lexus SUV on top of it. Larry made them take back their car and made her sell a lot of designer clothes she had.
