    Default Frozen Assets!

Thought this was a funny story to share. DW & I met with a couple who asked us for financial advice. We talked about their CC debt and the need to stop using it. They were resistant to cutting it up & wanted to keep for emergencies. I suggested they keep it in their freezer, frozen it in a block of ice. They laughed until they realized I was totally serious. I told them it would have to be a real emergency to chip it out of the ice!

A few nights later DW was watching a movie, "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and yelled for me to come watch. The lead actress had seen a pair of shoes she just "had to have" in a store, and the next scene shows her taking a block of ice containing her CC out of the freezer, and chipping at it with her high heeled shoe and melting it with a blow dryer on the kitchen floor. DW said, "I really thought you were kidding too, until I saw this!"
