Yep. As soon as I get to the point where I can take it off the frame.
Won't be completely finished, but it will be hooked. Can't cut them apart until all 12 are hooked. Not enough backing around the design to put them back on the frame if I do.

Here are the first two little prairie sky rugs, hot off the frame.

Started a third today.
Had a momentary slip up. A friend took me to Fabricland's Ultimate Canada Day Sale (yes, it's ten days early) and I bought some 50% off fabric. $43 worth to be exact. It will make nice aprons...if I can ever sell any aprons! We'll see. If the ones I already have don't sell, it is not worth it to make these up.2013 Challenges

Oooo... I hope someone buys those all together. They would be really cool all together on a wall.

Apron tips - cute, stylish, fitted aprons seem to be very popular here in the US right now. Look around online at sites like Flirty Aprons to get some ideas.

Thanks Jennifer. That's what I was thinking of doing for Christmas aprons. We'll see if the aprons sell though.
Here's my fifth prairie sky.

Told DH I had to spend 3 hours a day hooking this weekend if I wanted to get these done in time for the sale. He smiled and said "just like a job". To which I replied 'yes, a part-time one'. Hope he gets the point and lets me get the work done this weekend.2013 Challenges

He went to the Farmer's Market by himself today. I hooked rug at home. Finished this one...

It's overlapping circles. Is it ever hard to do! I think the hardest sky so far.2013 Challenges

One more. Don't like this one. I'll be taking out the dark blue strip at the top. This one looks better from 8' away or so...

Found a bag of 50 brand new handled plastic bags in my closet while cleaning up the other day. Informed my partner in crime we don't need to use recycled grocery bags anymore. We'll use these instead.
Decided to give my hand and back a break after hooking 2 of the rugettes today. My finger is sore (it's a pencil hook, held like a pencil), and my wrist and back are aching a bit. I think tonight I'll spin and cook for a bit. Something different to give my body a break.2013 Challenges

I've discovered the Freeconomy website and concept. Interesting stuff. Kinda extreme to me. But still, the older I get, the less money I seem to need. Most of it goes to taxes, and maintenance and repair of house and car. Hmm...worth thinking about ways to incorporate some of these ideas into my life...
