Do you live in Alabama ? Housing prices are pretty cheap here compared to the rest of the country. Just curious I live in Mobile. If I were you I would not be paying 400 in daycare when your wife only makes 500, at some point and I know this sounds harsh you become the charity and I would cut out the 150 until I got my own place and on my feet along with cutting out on extra activities. I would also move closer to work check out the neighborhoods, they might not be as nice as you had, but you have to start somewhere.

HUGS..I find from reading post's in regards to the support forum (in general..not specifically pointing at you)that the poster's seem to alway's justify 'I need to spend xy&z because of fill in the blank" you either want to make the change to better your life or you don't! I suggest you & your wife go to the Library and checkout a book called TightWad Gazette by Amy Dacyczyn it might benenfit your family...Your wife is definately putting you guy's in the hole each month if your figure is correct on her take home pay..No one likes change in general however your here for advice and not all advice is what you want to hear.. Your son playing Baseball is important to you..but in reality do you really have the fund's to afford him to play? Priorities need to be established my friend...I truly hope everything work's out for your family..

Maybe volunteer as your sons coach? I have lived in Alabama and even there I coached my daughter's soccer team and she got to play free. I knew NOTHING about soccer, I can't even stand it, but every little bit helps. Maybe your wife could coach? When I did it in Germany I had a (at the time) 2 year old following me around or eating snacks on the side line. Good luck! Alabama is a pretty cheap place to live. The Armory in Montgomery does scholarships. Just come back often for support.
Debt free thanks to Dave Ramsey!

All of the above was inbred into you by your parents. They taught you at school that this is how life is supposed to be didn't they...?
Get good grades, find a job, get married, buy a house and have kids. .... and you fell for it... DOH!!
You are on Earth ONCE and it seems like you've already dug the hole you want to spend your days in before you go to a smaller hole.
Get out now buddy, whilst your still young enough to LIVE...
